I always imagined unicorns to be like a Pegasus with great wings to carry them through the celestial, night sky. But my unicorns were creatures of the night. They created colorful contrasts against the night sky, like stars dancing across the great sea of black. They were elemental beings who could breathe a fire warm enough to heat even the coldest corners of space. They were the misunderstood monsters of the sky. They were magic.
